Treat yourself with manicure and pedicure products
Whether you do it yourself or you go to a salon, manicures and pedicures are an instant, mood-boosting treatment. It's an excellent way to make your look a more polished one. Maybe you have an upcoming birthday or just a rough week at work. Visiting a nail salon and making your hands and feet look glam and beautiful is an excellent present to yourself.
Manicures
These are designed to get your hands and nails looking gorgeous. If you go to a nail salon with old polish on your nails, don't fret. Pure acetone nail polish remover, which comes in 500ml bottles, can be used to wipe away the old and make way for the new. Your cuticles (skin at the very edge of your nail bed) will be pushed down to make a neat line and smooth the area. Then, as part of your manicure, you'll often receive a hand massage and some moisturising cream.
There is a vast amount of nail and gel nail polishes to choose from. You have the basic colours and then you can have added glitter over the top. Nail art to create a unique look is a big thing and Avant crystal, flat back rhinestones are perfect for this.
If you want to go for false nails, you'll have the option of acrylic or gel. The latter tends to be slightly kinder to the nail than acrylic.
Pedicures
There's so much time spent on the beach, or just swimming, that it's worth investing in a pedicure to get your toenails in tip-top shape. Getting this done couldn't be easier. You soak your feet in warm water for at least ten minutes first to get the skin soft. Using an exfoliating scrub is a little treat and then you can use a handheld foot file hard skin remover, or if you want something requiring a little less effort then using an electric grinder shaver tool to remove any hard skin or callus might be the best option for you.
Finally, choose your nail polish, paint and you will be ready to go.
