    Our previous Laser DSTB expired. Because our Panasonic TV is a very good one despite it being 'outdated', getting a new DSTB was more economical. KG Super store offered a newer Laser DSTB for an excellent price including Postage. Very speedy delivery ~ 3days. Packaged well. Simply removed the old device and a straight swap with the new DSTB (which is half the size(!). Pretty much auto setup (Smart) and our full service is operating again. Excellent service all round.

    I'm sorry that I'm unable to pass comment on this Set Top Box , I'm having some problems setting it up . But I can speak on previous purchase of the same item , as I have purchased a number of them over the years . The brand is Laser Set Top Box HD TV Media Player, for the price of $39.60 with 12 months warranty you can hardly go wrong , this is the first time I have have a problem but more than likely it will be me !!! doing something wrong , and the STB is usually delivered in 2/3 days .

    manual needs to be more detailed

    the unit seems to work OK but you need to be a tech nerd to set it up almost impossible. you can be trying to work through one task & all of a sudden some instruction will pop up saying "do so & so" no idea what it means or where to find the where the the tool to to the job is

    Not a good alternative

    Unable to program for recording. Control buttons confusing with differing applications. Box is so LIGHT the cords attaching dictate where it sits on shelf Handbook hard to understand When turned OFF on controller TV immediately loses its Programs
