I'm glad I did - it does exactly what the Laser websites claims. I have tried US, European and Australian DVDs - all great, no issues. And US and European Blu Rays - no problem at all - changing the region is easy (takes 10 secs). Comes with an Australian plug - I re-wired to a UK plug with no problems.
