    Dual purpose charger.

    I like that this charger intelligently charges AA and AAA batteries. It also has no separate power block. It has a swing out plug on the back at the top on one corner. I consider this far better for storage. There is one thing I had to get used to I've not encountered in chargers before. I'm used to seeing red lights while charging and then green when fully charged. This charger uses green for charging and just turns off with no light when the batteries are charged.

    Smart charger, little slow

    This is a "smart" charger, where it is using current and not time. The benefit - all cells are charged individually, get maximum out of each cell, but without quick charging, which is known to reduce cell life. I took a point off for speed - this is not fastest, nor fast. I would call it "smart overnight charger". Which will do it for me. YMMV

    Four individual charging ports

    It's like having four individual charging ports, so you can mix and max different battery capacities without screwing up the charge rates of each battery. The old model was set up so you had to charge two cells at a time, and they were supposed to be the same capacity.

    A good charger so give it good batteries to charge

    To write an honest review I must first separate the charger itself from the batteries that are sometimes included. Like any, "cluster pack" item, you get something great, with worthless garbage included. That's how experienced merchants "dump" products by making you pay extra for items they can't "move". With that in mind, It's always better to by "ala carte", better items (as long as they can be safely fitted), than be stuck with useless "bonus" items. The bottom line ( and sorry for the wordy back story ), buy just the charger, like I did, because that alone is worth it's weight in gold, and buy top quality batteries separately. Otherwise, you just paid extra for "bonus" batteries that even they knew are substandard throwaways. It's too bad people are giving bad reviews for this ...

    One of the best, easiest carriers for Newborn

    Have really appreciated how easy it is to get this sling on and off. Packs compactly into the included pouch which is integrated as part of the sling- so smart. It’s really nice not to have a million yards of fabric dragging around as you try to tie and untie the wrap with a newborn. Love having a simple, organic fabric. Does stretch a bit, so think about that when you’re deciding on the size. Great price, too.
