    Awesome tool and a must have for any professional or car enthusiast doing any polishing or paint correction

    Pros: Well packaged, Contains everything you need including batteries, Easy to use. Cons: None It’s the perfect tool for anyone considering doing any paint correction on a vehicle to gauge thickness of paint. Note: Works on metal substrates only (will do both ferrous and non ferrous metals). Will not give you a reading on plastic.

    Paint Coating Thickness Gauge

    I bought 2 cheaper gauges before this one in the hunt for a gauge that wasn't really expensive. This one actually works ! The others gave fluctuating results for the same spot on the panel - varying by up to 40 microns. ie. reading anywhere from 80 to 120 microns at the same spot on the pane.. This device gives consistent results within a few microns and does so in about half a second.. Awesome.
