    Great to have in your Movie Library

    I appreciate when a movie doesn't rewrite history, but tells the truth as best it can. Daniel Day-Lewis is a superb actor and Sally Field was also good even though I suspect she made Lincoln's wife a bit more intelligent than I ever imagined her. This is a great movie in my opinion.

    Excellent as a review of history of this president. It was refreshing to see Hal Holbrook in the movie. Went to internet to see some of his Mark Twain series. I enjoy programs based on history rather than fiction.
