    Great solution for stopping your toes poking through the mesh of your trainers

    I've had this problem with pretty much every pair of trainers I've ever had, including my current ones. I fitted the patches even though the holes have already formed, and they look instantly better for being patched. I wish trainer manufacturers would make the piece of leatherette which goes across the toes a little wider, then this wouldn't happen... I'll come back to report on how well the patches are performing after a couple of weeks.

    Good but expensive

    This is a great product, but perhaps I didn’t read the description properly, because I didn’t realise that there would be just one left patch and one right! I thought I’d be able to repair at least a couple of pairs of trainers. This is expensive for what it is but they do seem to work so far after a week of use.

    I was a bit sceptical to be honest but these have worked. They seem to be preventing any further damage to my trainers so that's really good. Much more environmentally friendly than buying another pair of trainers as its given my current pair loads more wear life.

    Ideal product

    Although I have rated it good value it does seem rather expensive for what it is. However, I have used to repair one pair of trainers and bought two further sets to prevent same problem in new trainers.
