    Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2: a great package all-around. I've recently started referring to Billy Joel as "America's poet laureate troubadour" since over a period of over 3 decades, he has written and performed a bounty of really good songs of considerable musical and lyrical quality that the everyday person can identify with. This collection rounds-up a trove of his hits going back to the beginning of his career on up thru the mid-1980s, some of which many of us may have since forgotten, but fondly remember with a smile upon hearing it. This kind of stuff conjures fond memories of where we were back in the day when these songs were hits on the radio.
