Value for money
The Vax is very good for suction and cleaning but it is lacking in comfort for taller people. The height adjustment is needed as taller people find it hard to keep the head square with the floor and he have to stoop to use it I am 6' 2" and find it uncomfortable to do so. My wife Anne is 5' 4" and she finds it okay. The canister is hard to clean the bulk drops out but the fluff clings to the fine mesh and I have to use a chopstick to reach down the sides. The Dyson design is easier to pull of the canister and clean. However, its performance is I believe better than the Dyson and the price is more realistic. Overall ok, not fantastic.
Overall it's ok.. It's not fantastic. I find the suction is not as powerful as I'd hoped by reading all the other reviews, I have to have it on boost the entire time to get the pet hair off the carpet and couch so the battery runs low a lot quicker, I cannot do the entire house on one charge. I find it bulky to hold to do the window sills and car and I cannot do all the car floors as the machine itself is to big to fit into all the spaces I need to get to. The dust collection is also very small so I need to empty it several times during a clean which I find a little tedious, although it does empty very easily, it's having to go to the bin repeatedly. I have an old barrel vax which I still pull out to do a whole house clean but the stick is good for spot jobs or smaller rooms. A good back ... Overall it's ok.. It's not fantastic. Powerful vacuum but a bit heavy
The vacuum has v powerful suction the only thing is it’s a bit heavy compared to my previous Hoover ultralight stick vacuum. Also it’s not stable if you stand it by it self on the wall without it’s wall stand . Also the charging socket 🔌 on the vacuum is underneath the handle I believe it might be better and easier if the manufacturer would make it up for the newer models. The rotating head is hard to be dismantled for cleaning as well .
