The only reason you can tell it is open box is because an SD card was already in it (don’t worry, I wiped it). The tablet is well made and such a pleasure to use. It’s definitely worth what I paid and will replace my iPad and paper notebooks at work. It looks like paper in low light or low brightness. However, the screen is smooth. The stylus is also ergonomic and comfortable.

The shipping was delayed by two days, but, it still came in about a week. The device works well. The price was wonderful for the product I received, considering it actually WAS boxed, brand new, unused. I basically got $40 off of the original price! The e-reader is a sleek design and very light weight.

Unfortunately, this Palma unit I received had a front light issue for me. The seller was understanding of the matter and allowed me a return + refund. The condition was surprisingly better than "Open Box" - it came in what I'd call "Brand New" Everything went smoothly and I'd gladly do business with this shop again.
