To anyone considering this cooler, don't follow the instructions: only screw the R plate to the mobo. Screw the cooler's spring-screw partway into L plate (remember how many turns). Attach the L plate to mobo before doing the R side's spring-screw by the same number of turns as L, and then increase the tension back and forth. Once done, it's awesome but I had some sweaty, painful hours until then!
