    Compact and very easy to install

    This product from Netgear is well packaged and is of a pleasing compact design. It is dual band which enabled me to take advantage of the faster 5 GHz WiFi mode all over the house. With Push "N" Connect it was installed and working in 2mins. Its reasonable price available on eBay enabled me to take advantage of the newer and much faster 802.11ac technology available from my modem and boost the WiFi signal to areas of the home where it didn't exist before.

    Unreliable connectivity

    Stops passing traffic to upstream wifi fairly regularly and needs a device power reset to re-establish; the wifi is still connected and the lights are all as expected but it just doesn't pass traffic. Also there is no configuration unless you sign up for an online account at Netgear which is a complaint about all Netgear products like this - even though it has an onboard web page you can't get into it without signing up for Netgear spam emails. When it's behaving itself, it's pretty fast, though.

    Netgear

    I bought this one as our internet coverage is not good in the other rooms in the house. It's an old house built in 1846 so the walls are very thick. I had bought another brand earlier but sadly enough still did not work. This Netgear works perfectly. I'm writing this in the bedroom which is farthest from the modem location in the hallway. I highly recommend this product!

    Very effective. Instructions poor

    It was a bit of a struggle setting it up but once I discovered the trick to getting it to recognise the existing password on the router it sprung to life. Seems to work well but with the Australian plug adaptor provided it will not stay in the wal. It keeps wanting to fall out. This should be addressed. I ended up setting it up on an extension lead with it propped up on a horizontal surface.

    Power plug low quality

    Extender is working fine , no complaints but attached power plug adapter is not a quality product! it is losing power and therefore connectivity drop outs. I had to apply additional sticky tape .
