    Convenient, but mic pre sound quality is not great...

    This is a BANG FOR YOUR BUCK: Bright, clear 5" high-res display, 16 mic pres with USB audio interface (swappable with dual SD card, 32 channel X-LIVE X32 expansion card), controllable by Ethernet or Wi-Fi, VERY usable built-in effects, and many, many more features. You cannot find anything else with all these many features for under $1000. This thing is overwhelmingly feature packed. For live scenarios, this is your ticket. Now, if you're going to use this as a studio recording interface, be aware that something needed to be compromised, and the mic pres were that compromise. They sound OK. They don't sound bad, but if you're used to crystal-clear, pristine, quiet pre-amps, be aware that these are just OK. They cut it for live use, but for recording, they are noisy, lack transparency, and ...

    Great mobile mixer!

    The X32 Rack has been wonderful at gigs, and for rehearsals. Sounds great! The eq, reverbs, and compression give you all the tools you need. I recommend setting up and storing a basic scene at rehearsal that you can tweak/expand on at the gig. It's not hard getting around, but it's nice to not start from scratch. Otherwise, you will not be disappointed with this mixer.

    Just as versitile as the X32 Board

    I am familiar with the X32 board so I was just getting used to navigating through using the controls on the face. I also used the WiFi interface which is exactly the same interface with the board. My iPad work flawlessly for about 7hrs until I needed to use a portable charger to stay on (It was a twelve hour event). I'm glad I have it.

    I Love this thing

    Firstly I had to update the software, which made everything even more easy to see and handle. I love that I can use my tablet to control the unit and don’t have to stand in front of my rack to do so. Glad I’ve made the investment.

    Best bang for your buck!!

    I've owned the X32 Compact for about 3 years now and love it.. It not a mixer for someone who is truely not a techie.. The architecture and workflow is based on pro mixers and if your not used to it can seem a little complicated. I loved my Compact so much that I purchased this X32 Rack as a backup and to do smaller shows.. Starting a sound company is pretty expensive and one thing you can not get wrong is your mixer.. The X32 line is the best bang for your buck out there!
