    Feature packed Sirui W2204 tripod

    This is a relative lightweight carbon tripod for the size with an outstanding feature set. It is well built with premium materials and has seals in each twist lock to keep out sand and water. The legs are from 29.4mm to 18.5mm, so are larger than series 2 but less than series 3 tripods of Gitzo. Large soft rubber grips will lock in about a half to a third turn. Extending/retracting legs are very smooth despite waterproof seals. Rubber feet can be replaced with spikes for more stability. Careful thought went into the engineering and construction of this tripod as the fit, finish and extra pins to ensure the carbon to aluminum joints do not come apart. An example is the 12" bolt for the long column is mainly made out of carbon, reducing weight even though this is normally hidden in ...

    After 15 tripods I found a real winner

    Very solid for a tripod for this weight. I been photographing for more than 60 years and have owned many tripods including Gitzo, Induro, Benro and Manfrotto and others. This is very well made and gives you more tripod for your money than other brands. Well built and easy to carry and use. The Siriu ballheads are cery smooth in operation and a re a great value too.

    Light and very convenient

    Spent a week with this tripod in Iceland and was very happy with it! The only thing disappointing is that spikes have to be attached separately. I liked the ones made by Vanguard, when you spin the rubber pads on legs and spikes appear. Here you have to carry them separately and attach when you need. Unfortunately I could not have the spikes attached all the time because there was a lot shooting at a sea shore and I needed the tripod to stand firmly on the wet sand. Anyway
