      this was purchased for installation on two computers, the first one loaded on no problem, the second one required a call to Microsoft for a new ID no. then simply following the instructions provided, it loaded on the second unit just as advertised.

      Very easy to install over an older existing version.

      The item came as described. I installed over an existing Office 2007 version and it did it all automatically, including importing all of the Outlook settings, address book, messages and files from it - even the color theme. Same for the other programs (Word, Excel, Publisher...) I was expecting to have to do a lot of this manually, and to spend much more time. However, I had to go online and download the Service Packs to update it. (Maybe it would have done it automatically, I don't know)

      The Last Best Office Solution for a Windows machine.

      Also, it is just about the last version of Office that I can install on a stand-alone pc that does NOT have an internet connection. Yep, there's still a few of these out in the real world.

      Nothing like owning your own copy of Microsoft Office rather than a pricey yearly subscription!

      I am a senior citizen and while I have always loved using Microsoft Office, the switch from buying your software outright to a subscription service hits the budget hard. I wanted to find Microsoft Office 2010 which comes on a DVD. My desktop has a DVD and so does my laptop so this installed on both. One price and it is mine rather than paying $99 a year for a subscription. I had a slight problem when my DVD drive did not download the program. It kept ejecting the disc. But, it was not this software, it was my desktop. So, since you cannot download Office 2010 online, I installed it on the laptop and then copied the files to a thumb nail drive. The installation on my desktop went perfectly from the thumbnail drive. The software comes with a key and you are able to install on three ...
