    Packaging was really good and the item came early. Unfortunately one of the RAM chips was dysfunctional and produced a scrambled screen the other seemed OK when run alone but wouldn't work with the existing chips so couldnt expand RAM - not useful. Specs on chip were identical. Guess that's the risk. Seller would not have known if chips not tested so don't blame them.

    No issues, works as expected

    I wanted to add 8GB to my existing 8GB (2x4GB) with the exact same stuff. This model was getting hard to find for a good price, so when I found this, I got it. The units I got look new and perform as expected. It's very fast and reliable, and was top rated when it was new. I originally built my PC in 2012 (ASUS P8Z77, i5-2500k, 2133Mhz RAM, Evo 840 SSD, ASUS GTX 560 GPU) and it still out performs any of my business PCs I've had since.

    Save your money.

    I could write a book on ram-memory,but, not to boor anyone reading this review, Unless you have a case with a window and you want to so off the components of a build. This memory doesn't perform any better than regular PC ram-memory. It looks nice and has the heat shields and you can buy fancy colored heat shield cheep. Don`t take my word for it check for yourself. You would be hard pressed to find the difference that would justifies the big difference in the price of this type of ram and typical ran-memory..

    Good, Reliable SDRAM Memory

    I build desktop computers and G. Skill is some of the best memory that you can buy at a reasonable price. I have never had any fail, or require a voltage increase above normal to work reliably, unlike some other highly advertised brands. The metal covers help protect the SDRAM from static electricity and also dissipate any heat.
