Ubisoft's Petz series breaks away from its usual dog and cat fare to offer players a chance to adopt truly exotic pets in Crazy Monkeys. The game offers a wide variety of monkeys and apes for adoption, from little squirrel monkeys to big gorillas. In a fashion crazy enough to live up to the title, players can adopt up to three different monkeys and apes at a time, and nurture them to all to bond together as a family. Different species can be crossbred to create never-before-seen results. Each pet primate can develop a personality all its own. Some are meek and some are courageous. Some are loyal and others simply indifferent. Players can encourage their monkeys to grow up friendly and smart, by working with them regularly and using the Wii Remote to train them to perform tricks. A selection of outfits and accessories becomes available through play, allowing virtual monkey trainers to dress their pets for nearly any occasion. Monkeys can be uploaded and saved to the Wii Remote controller, allowing players to take their companions with them for a visit on a friend's Wii.
