    Happy with purchase so far. Drill seems to function as intended although haven't put it to the concrete/cinder block test yet (soon). It does make a loud clicking noise upon stopping when I let up on the trigger. Hopefully it is the brake or clutch mechanism and not a flaw or damage. Appears new as advertised, shipped quickly and packaged well. A good price for this product. Thank you seller!

    The loud clicking noise you're describing when you release the trigger on your DeWALT DCD805B is quite common and generally considered normal for this model and similar DeWALT drills (like the DCD794B). This noise is typically associated with the drill's brake mechanism or clutch system engaging to stop the motor and gear train abruptly.
