Firstly the jack leaked badly around the pump, by removing the pump and using teflon tape to seal the thread the leak has stopped. The moving carriage steel H that the jack mounts on fitted poorly and I had to weld four 3mm steel pads to reduce the movement sufficient to use the press safely. Overall I am happy but as usual there is a reason things are cheap.
