    THOUGHT PROVOKING 'WHAT IF?' SCENARIO

    I had seen this movie when released and remembered the intriguing plot. I am fascinated in what I write, read or view by 'The Fork In The Road' idea - by what happens if this or that choice was made and this provides a wonderful framework to explore that. Suddenly the most powerful battle ship in the world is about to intercept the Japanese fleet the day before Pearl Harbor - AND can destroy it. This one act will change history - save countless lives - mean that the Einsteins, Stephen Hawkings, Steinbecks and Bill Gates who died in the conflict survived and would go on to make their contributions to society. Excellent scenario and I enjoyed it again. Thank you.

    Aircraft carrier is propelled back in time, the day before Pearl Harbour.

    Great movie and totally suspenseful. Fantastic pictures of aircraft and almost factual footage. First bit of DVD was stopping, but past that it was very entertaining. Quick post, and good value. Thank you very much.
