    Great Value to Cost. Very happy with it.

    This is a sweet spot for low cost with high quality and value. The T2i lacks the flip out capability for the view screen which was important to us. The 18 megapixels is high enough with the quality of the Canon lenses that I did not worry about that (more is better with a DSLR, but it wasn't priority for us). This unit takes great HD video, great stills and like all EOS Canon cameras, has access to tons of high quality lenses, including on the used market. Look for your own specific needs, but unless you need features like 24 megapixels, WiFi, and active refocus during video, there's no need to spend more. This unit will work super well for most photographers and at a low price.

There are plenty of accessories available for this camera which will appeal to the photographer who owns this camera. With the appropriate memory card, the camera produces great videos.     Rebel T3i is not a simple camera, therefore not easy to use unless in automatic....:)

    photography and movie making is not easy, also this is not a simple camera, it works well, takes great pictures and videos..If you are serious about imaging then this would be a good starter camera to learn what everything does and they are not to expensive.
