I put a few blocks at the bottom of my general waste bins and food waste caddy to ward off unpleasant smells and keep insects, flies, and rodents at bay. Placing the blocks in mesh bags and hanging them inside the wheelie bins works wonders in neutralizing strong odours. I'm also grateful that protective gloves are provided with the purchase.
