Grass, pollens, midges, mosquitoes ants etc. You must rub it in and hold your dog for about 5 mins to stop them from licking it off. You can actually feel the hotspots cooling. If it progresses, though and it usually does by mid summer, it no longer keeps her comfortable. I have to get the vet to give her the very effective cytopoint treatment for this condition. Happy dog.
