Basic Instinct is a box office movie thriller that grossed millions after its original release. The movie features Sharon Stone who plays Catherine Tramell and Michael Douglas who plays detective Nick Curran in award-winning movie that delves into a murder mystery plot and psychological thriller. Everyone close to the main character, Catherine, ends up dead leaving Nick, who has troubles of his own, to uncover the motives for the murders. The bodies begin to pile up and the plot thickens into some interesting dynamics with plenty of twists and turns. The movie premiered in theaters March of 1992 and released on DVD in 1997.

    Classic femme fatale movie

    A classic, controversial movie that isn't outdated. Sharon Stone's character is the quintessential femme fatale whose role as a murderer keeps the audience guessing throughout the movie. Since it hasn't aired for years, owning a commercially produced version is well worth it.
