    Great life’s Philosophy

    I was triggered to read this book when Pharrell Williams famously made the “Happy” song, during a TV interview he stated that reading The Alchemist changed his life. I rewinded what he said several times to get the name of the book. When I read it, it changed me too. Making a switch in my thinking. I wanted my middle school grandson to read it too. I thought if he could get the Philosophy early in life he would be ahead of the game. I withheld it from the library, months after months. His interest was just not there, maybe not for reading much of any books. But now, he is in the military, I thought it would be a good time to add this to his care package. I am hoping that he will read it, and begin to make the switch in thinking. I also suggested The Alchemist as a good read to our family ...
