    Just buy the original, don’t waste your time

    I received my order on time so I was happy about that but once I tried pairing the remote it wouldn’t work. I went on Apple website to try to see if My model and this remote were compatible and they are supposed to but it didn’t work. It came with a battery so I thought maybe the battery was worn out but that wasn’t the issue. I went to target and spent 14.99 on batteries and still that didn’t work. Super disappointed on the product and having to purchase extra things for it. Best bet, just pay 19.99 for the actual remote!

    Official apple remote

    Same remote that comes with the apple tv when it was purchased new! It comes in a brand new apple box, no pairing needed.. pull this remote right out of the box and press a button and instantly back to controlling your apple tv! Wish that the shipping was faster, but very happy to not just be using my bluetooth keyboard.

    Worked on My Old Apple TV

    I don't know what generation of apple TV I have. I imagine it's either 1st or 2nd generation. All that I can say is that it worked. Apple TV turned on as soon as I pointed and clicked. Of course my wife found the missing control as soon as I ordered this, haha...
