Super charger
Before I bought the charger I have watched several videos/reviews about it, but after having it I must say it is even better than I expected. And also I learned how to use it very quickly (using two buttons and understanding the charging rates at different scenarios etc.), was easier than I tought previously from watching the videos. I have charged both Li-ion batteries (4x 18650 LG 3000mah) and Ni-MH (11x AAA 900-950mah) and it charged both fast, evenly and withouth heating them or anything. The batteries I charged were all good, I didn't try to charge any bad quality batteries. It detects the battery type and charged capacity very quickly and accurately (about 2 seconds after you insert the battery). The built quality is flawless and the built material is nice. Not very intelligent and potentially dangerous
I bought this because it was supposed to intelligently know the battery type and charge correctly. I wanted to use it specifically for 18650 batteries, but was intrigued that I could also use it for others. Instead, I find that I must select the battery voltage each time and for each battery and if I don't, it defaults to a voltage that is too high and could potentially cause a fire. The two buttons aren't even easy to use. Selecting the individual batteries, and the voltages for each is time consuming and not at all intuitive, which means if I ever lose the instructions, I probably won't even be able to use it. I would not recommend this product. Instead, buy a charger specifically for 18650's if you need one, and a separate NiCad/NiMH charger for your other batteries.I bought this because it was supposed to intelligently know the battery type and charge correctly. Seems like a good charger.
I'm pIt charges a lot of different sizes of cylinder type batteries. This model doesn't have a display screen but shows the battery's charge with led lights. It shows when the battery is at 30%, 80% and 100%. I've only been using it for 2 weeks but it has worked very well so far. While Nitecore makes fancier models, this one definitely gets the job done. The one I received only came with a AC cable, the charger is made to also accept 12V power cables. I'm pIt charges a lot of different sizes of cylinder type batteries. Nitecore charger
I use a 3-cell 1856 light to walk my little dog a couple times a night, we have no street lights, I go through a lot of battery life. This charger seems to put a little more life in the batteries I have been using, and it charges them at a good rate of speed. I also do not have to worry about overcharge if I forget to take them out. I would buy this charger again, and I would recommend it to a friend. Also a nice feature, you can charge 1 battery, by itself, or any number up to 4, as needed--very convenient. 1856 is all I am using right now, but it will charge many other different batteries.I use a 3-cell 1856 light to walk my little dog a couple times a night, we have no street lights, I go through a lot of battery life. Excellent, versatile charger for my vaping needs
This is easily the best charger I've found for 18650 batteries. Charges safely and very quickly. Perfect for vaping mod batteries (& pretty much any other rechargeable battery). I use it daily and I've experienced no overheating problems whatsoever. Just use it on a hard/flat surface. The unit has lots of options, but for my needs it was basically 'plug n play'. I love it.
