Auto adjusts vacuum strength based on floor type. Does not sense low lying items such as cables or smaller kids toys so these need to be packed away first. Does a reasonable job first time of cleaning but I can see this being a great tool with repeated regular cleans to stay on top of things. Auto hair cutting and dust empty a bonus
