    Great image quality

    I bought this camera because I've been considering buying one for a while. I thought I would pick this one up even though it didn't work. I would give a chance to get a feel for the size and handling plus use it for parts when I decided to actually buy one. But to my surprise, when I put a battery in, it powered up... and worked flawlessly. The image quality is excellent. It's a little smallish for me as I normally shoot with the D7000, D7200 series of cameras. For my carry around camera, I use a P7000 but it finally died and I needed a replacement. I like that size much better plus the controls are well placed. I'm still getting used to the Coolpix A. The only real negative is there is no dedicated movie record button. I simply can't understand what they were thinking on that.

    Image is Pretty good! But,Focus sometime not accurate, focus is slow.

    This Nikon A give pretty good images. this particular unit is not easy focusing sometime fail. focus point not always stay in middle. They are moves around and fail,Lot of waist pictures. I check camera there is no controls that I find ! I wonder there is only this unit or would like to find out. Thank You.

    Coolpix-A is a superior pocket camera with a very low price.

    Coolpix-A is one of a kind pocket camera with a DX size sensor. The lens is sharp and contrasty. My main use is for travel and street photography. It is much easier to use than my DSLR's or Fuji X camera.

    Very small with large sensor

    My only complaint is it's lack of any sort of viewfinder. Even a simple optical one would be great. But you can't beat the size of the sensor in such a small package. The lens is superb as well.
