        A bit pricey, but it works, which is the main thing.

        It works just fine. I think Apple rips people on items that they really have no competition on, but this is a good product and allows me to use my older peripherals with a brand new iMac, so... all is well. I recommend.

        Used with iMovie to control MiniDV camera with daisy-chained Firewire adaptor

        Does what it says on the box. I daisy-chained it with a firewire connector to connect an older MiniDV camera to my Macbook Pro and it works perfectly with iMovie for reading MiniDV cassettes.

        Great product and it's working perfectly...

        Great product and it's working perfectly. The condition of it was wonderful and it so handy to have since i have an older mac. The best part about this item is that is bi-directional. So you can hookup and newer USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 or 4) to an older Macbook Pro via the Thunderbolt 2 connectors.
