Compact, easy to setup and boosts the Wifi signal significantly
I installed a Ring Security Doorbell to my front door of my home, however the Wifi signal was too poor to use it. The original RSSI signal strength was a poor high 70's figure and has now dropped to a mid 40's which is a excellent Wifi signal. The TP-Link Range Extender needs to be located mid way between your router/modem and the location of your Wifi item to be used. Instructions to set up are simple and when operating correctly, a steady blue ring light is always on. Once setup the Extender can be moved to any other power outlet in the home and requires no further adjustments. A big advantage is I can now connect to my home Wifi outside the home with my mobile phone. I have tested this to be a further 10 metres, when previously I had no signal. Small and easy set up
I was under the impression that it would improve my access to the NBN however it has made no difference to the access nor speed. It was easy to set up and connected to my NBN immediately. I have a small house so I have no way of knowing if the "Range Extender" would work.

TP-Link TL-WA850RE WIFI Booster
The device is neat and tidy, easy to setup and configure and, best of all, effective. It is a pity that the wirless frequencies used are dated somewhat. But that criticism bein said, the booster has been effective for a minimal cost. I live in a home with thick walls that impede signal but this relatively inconspicuous device has improved signal srength very significantly

Airpods are great, super compact and portable. They connect faster than any Bluetooth device I have seen and do it automatically. The battery life is OK, considering how small they are it is good. The sound is really good too, and the microphone is fine (unless in busy streets or offices). Only big down side is the case gets micro-scratches very easily, especially if they share a pocket with your keys. So I am going to try and get a case for them, which is another expense.
