Good, if this is what you already have
If you have a decent sized antenna, this will break, and it will always happen at the worst time. It will always break between the two bolts, as it is the weak spot in the design, and cannot take the stress of a long antenna whipping back and forth in even moderate waves/swells for a long time. It is inexpensive enough that you can carry a spare in the boat and keep replacing it, and easy enough to reinstall. The handle to tighten is always in the wrong position, and you can never fully tighten it, because the handle will always hit, whatever you have it bolted too, and you cannot disassemble to reposition the handle, so your choices are; it never being adequately tightened, or cut the handle down to fully tighten, but then you have a handle you may have to grab with a pliers to loosen. ... Unit is of good quality for the price but it's not as sturdy as i would have liked and its a little hard to move positions up/down...My next one will definitely be a more high quality unit.
