      kinked oring

      installation was easy. but I had to buy a different fitting to use my current faucet. there was also a kinked oring in one of then carbon filters I had to replace. no big deal just a little erksome. but the unit is working great and the price and replacement filtger price was great

      Check filter fit!

      Assembled and installed. Got 6 years of filters and uv. Good thing because I needed to peel off rubber washers and use them in bottom of center and right charcoal filters for proper fit. Please install filters and shake the whole system. If no looseness is detected your golden. Charcoal filters were loose in mine. I had no idea and water tasted musty and I and one pet got sick. Not the Ebayers fault but they said all products were a perfect fit period. I just wanted them to throw some extra parts in and a note shake before turning the water on. I did not use any of the first filters because they were contaminated on the clean side so whole system cost a little more in the end. Suggest you install one filter at a time in an upright position and make sure filter is centered and slowly twist ...

      Filter is well made and is compact.

      Installation was simple but to allow installation of the water supply below the sink I had to purchase an additional connection to convert from 1/2" to 3/8" and short hose. The supplied connection is for 1/2" and would connect to the faucet behind the sink so I connected it to the 3/8" connection at the water cutoff. The silicon seal for the UV light had to be trimmed a litle to allow the light to be inserted. The seal had expanded when the cover nut was tightened to prevent leaking. The unit works well and I am pleaed with it.

      Great filter system!

      Water in my area is awful tasting and full of nasty stuff that I do not want in my body. After installing this system, my water tastes great and I feel better knowing that this water is truly clean. I've worked on industrial water filtration and distillation equipment and I'm very impressed. I recommend to anyone looking for an undersink unit.

      Good for the price except for the fittings.

      Other than the cheap plumbing fittings (pipe threads and thread bores) were so poorly machined that I could not use, the system works well and the water tastes like bottled. In order to seal the filter canisters I had to coat the o-rings with Vaseline.
