    Title does not share the great stories inside.

    The whole series 1 through 8 is highly enjoyable. The ongoing banter between the 2 main characters is so entertaining and the plots are well written.

    Great video viewing

    Martin Shaw excels as Inspector George Gently, and Lee Ingelby is the perfect foil to Shaw's character, with excellent writing and acting, this is one of Britain's best crime shows...up there with Morse, Midsomer, and Endeavour.
