    I tried to use this converter for my Bose Lifestyle surround sound system and have it connect to my new 4k Samsung TV. The adapter never converted the signal to the HDMI format, so it didn't work. I'm still trying to figure out another way to get the two systems to work together... But this was NOT the way to go.
