    Movie fairly true to the book.

    Redford and Farrow are top notch performers. Production excellent and kept to the '20s Jazz age ambiance. Enjoyed this performance better than a later version with DiCaprio.

    I refuse to show the newer version of this to my students (despite the pleading and those cute faces they think are going to win me over). I only show this one because it is closely tied to the novel. Robert Redford is the perfect Gatsby and Nick was also wonderfully casted!

    GREAT Gatsby!

    This is the best of all the Great Gatsby movies. Robert Redford is the perfect Jay Gatsby and I feel like this movie stays close to what the book said without changing it. I loved this movie!
