    Not overwhelming but light and sweet.

    Keeping you smelling sweet not over powering and not going to give others a huge headache when your alone with them in an elevator. Oldie but goodie will never outgrow this smell and what memories it evokes when worn not just from myself but from others who recognize the smell and haven't smelled it in a lot of years. Have tried other brands a lot of very expensive brands and no matter what I try I always end up back to my oldie but Goodie!! Will be totally disheartened if this product ever left the market.

    Timeless classic for the fraction of price. Love my Vanderbilt by Gloria Vanderbilt.

    One of my favorite fragrances along with L’Heure Bleue by Guerlain. Prominent carnation and dreamy dry-down, a rich yet delicate timeless classic. Much less sweet than many contemporary scents, which is refreshing. Great value. Vanderbilt smells like a much more affordable version of Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue, but with a hint of more sweetness. Love it!
