    Laptop was clean and functional. However item description and photographs did not match actual product sent. Details: Not i7 8650U (shipped i7 8550U instead) Not illuminated keyboard nor fingerprint scanner as depicted in pic. Partial refund was done immediately after reporting and agreeing, that part was good. Was not worth the time and money as an international buyer.

    Great and easy to use Docking Station for Lenovo Laptops

    Very happy with this docking station. Using it with both X1 Carbons and other Thinkpads with USB-C charging. One simple, small USB-C to plug in power and connect to two monitors is awesome. Works great.

    Liked it at work so much that I bought one for home.

    Simplifies the cable connections - I only need to connect the USB-C cable to my Thinkpad T470 and instantly have charging, network, keyboard, video and mouse support through the Docking Station. Can’t wait to try out the multiple display capability.

    Update the Firmware / Drivers immediately

    I immediately downloaded the Lenovo firmware for the dock and the latest Thunderbolt / USB-C drivers from Lenovo. Once I read the ReadMe file to enable a specific Bios function, I was quickly able to update the firmware. No problems. I've been using this with my Lenovo X1 Extreme connected to a single QHD / 1440p panel. Its been nearly flawless. I only had one instance where I needed to unplug / replug the dock. Otherwise my only gripe is that it makes the laptop warm when its connected. Keep in mind, this does not provide power to the laptop. I still plug in 2 plugs: 1 for power and 1 for the dock.

    Does the job

    It is ok, works fine with Lenovo laptops. But is not as versatile as other docks. It connected my monitor set up with my Thinkpad but not with my other Dell laptop. Replaced it with Dell dock after all and everything run perfect.

    Make sure unit is tested and "certified"

    Display ports not functioning. Unclear if unit was tested. Attempted to DL device drivers and referred to Lpatop/Montior functions - isolated DP ports. Only working with USB C ports to HDMI and/or USB C to VGA adapter. Prefer DP
