    Excellent sound quality and comfortable

    Ive not bought many different yamaha products since 1972. Most of which were motorcycles. Being also a good value however when it comes to music reproduction quality.I will continue to buy Yamaha! Not to mention always with a nice to all better price tag than many others.I had high hopes from all Id read.Then seeing the prices of others and then what this set runs on average. Who should complain, I got lucky scored a set for 64.00 lightly used with the same as new comes with and in that same box.I couldnt tell that it had any use just as was told by the previous owner. Who simply tryed them out before he closed up his recording studio.All I can say is they sound incredable.I use mine for listening to music pluged into my pc along with a creative play 3 headphone amp and simple sound ...

    Balanced sound, great for use with keyboards.

    These headphones have a very balanced sound, which is great for using with my Yamaha Motif keyboard. Before I bought these, I tried an inexpensive pair of KOSS headphones and they had a scooped midrange that made the Motif sound like a toy. They sounded OK for music playback but not for reproducing the full range sound of a pro keyboard. So the KOSS got returned and I spent the extra money for the Yamaha phones. They are comfortable, since they fit around your ears, not on them and they provide pretty good isolation. Yamaha makes great stuff.
