      Pulls you in & keeps you there

      This rare flick pulls you in & keeps you there for the whole ride. This is a great mystery (who done it) with plenty of suspense, twists & turns. --- Without spoiling the movie for you it's plot is ....Is the accused(suspect) the actual guilty party ? --- It takes place in & out of the court room. The pacing is right on, the suspense great & the acting is top notch. All the actors put in great performances especially Cher. If your looking for something that grips & intrigues you from beginning to end I highly recommend "Suspect"

      Innocent until proven guilty.

      One problem - absolutely no "follow up" on the man initially charged with the murder, played by Liam Neeson. One policing error - her car was not made part of the crime scene, and, had it been so, the tape would have been found sooner. It took the defense attorney to check inside the car for it to be located. Duh.

      Enjoyed this oldie

      A young Cher and a very young Dennis Quaid team up for this courtroom drama.. Liam Neison, also very young, plays a non-speaking role. It also has John Mahoney as the judge…….whole lot of great actors in one movie! It kept my attention.

      suspenseful

      I believe this is one of Cher's best acting jobs. It's an excellent movie, full of drama and suspense. It will keep you on the edge of your seat at times. I've seen it a few times and never tire of it.

      Cher and Liam Neesom are excellent! Realistic courtroom drama, but Dennis Quaid's role is totally unbelievable. Cher's 2nd best film after Moonstruck!
