    Value for a beginner.

    This Bodhran is great value for a beginner. It's well made. Wood and skin are done properly both in function and aesthetics. Mine came from the drier west and had a higher tone than I expected, but after a few days in my Ohio home, with our higher humidity, the skin relaxed and the tone became lower and just what I wanted. Of course some added moisture from a spray bottle would do the same thing for people in a dry state. And it comes with a really nice canvas case. In short, a really cool purchase.
