Dark chocolate has a 2 year shelf life from the date of manufacture unless improperly stored or impacted by an extreme weather event such as heat or cold. From photos this has been the cause and happened in transit. All rocky road batches are high turnover products and are made each week. Between December and end of March orders are custom made. It would have been nice to be contacted when an issue occurred instead of feedback.
