    Versatile neodymium microphone

    This is sold to be an instrument mic and it is very good on most instruments; I also use it as a vocal mic. It has the sensitivity to collect all the sound source and the pattern to attenuate loud sounds behind it. Goto for Clarinet, Sax, male vocal.

    Incorrect Product

    The delivered product appears to be knockoff Shure Beta 58A, I ordered the beta 57a and was expecting actual Shure product Mics do work and appears to be a supercardiod pattern so I will find a use for them

    Started well, failed halfway through

    Used it tonight for the first time, started out well, good sound quality through a good Roland heavy duty XLR cable. By the second set they could no longer hear my sound well, switched to a Beta SM-58 and sound came right back. Hope I didn't get a lemon

    GREAT MICROPHONE INDIAN CONCERTS

    Last Saturday I used this first time at an Indian concert with musicians from India. I used this on the Tabla Drum for one item & Sitar on another. It sounded very good in both cases. EASY TO HANDLE AND LOOKS VERY GOOD ON STAGE Musicians & Audience were very happy.

    Great Shure mic

    Great 57 mic for micing speaker cabinets. I use it conjunction with my Cascade Fathead and it sounds great. Slightly more frequency response than a normal 57 and slightly larger polar response.
