    OK Speedloader

    Seller did a great job. Packed well, shipped promptly, new in packaging. Bought 2, tried one. This is more recent than all of my older ones. The lock to hold the cartridges in place did not seem as positive as my older ones. Loading and release were not as positive, but I only tried it with one brand of ammunition. It does work, just takes a little TLC.

    Fit and Finish

    These are made of plastic and when you load ammo into it you have to work the mechanism to lock the ammo into the loader. On L 686-6 frames it is a tight squeeze and just barley gets the ammo into the cylinder and you have to manipulate the shells to load. So loader yes, speed loader well maybe not. But if your at the range and you just want to load ammo into your revolver faster than one at a time by hand these will work okay. The price is great so load up a few before you go to the range. Safe shooting

    Good value for the money

    I needed a speed loader for my 7 shot S&W LComp 357 The 7 shot style of speed loaders don't appear to be as common as the 6 shot variety which is one of the reasons I chose the HKS brand. After doing some research, they seemed to be a very good value so I purchased one. After receiving it, and trying it out, I very much liked the way it worked so I bought a second one. All and all its a very good value and would recommend them to any one looking for an economical speed loader.

    ...needed a little breaking in to...

    I have used the HKS 5 and 6-shot speedloaders for decades and they have always been easy to use and reliable. I bought two 3 packs here. A couple of these new 7-shot speedloaders were somewhat stiff and needed a little breaking in to both lock and release the shells smoothly. Once this was accomplished, they all functioned well. I couldn't be happier.

    They work

    Anyone who has been shooting double action revolvers longer than 15 minutes knows HKS makes the best affordable speedloaders out there. They stand behind their product and replace defective pieces, if you ever get one. I have never had a defective HKS speedloader.
