Ummm... seriously?? What I got were two items that are SOoOooO soft... it's like something that was... not yet ready to come out of the oven! They are so soft and flimsy that I BROKE one of them just trying to spin it! I feel terrible leaving this kind of review, but as other buyers have indicated the same thing! All you can really do is LOOK at these items. Do NOT attempt any kind of real movement, as they may break! Oh, well. Live and learn. I shall now continue my search. :-(

  • Lightweight and great for teaching safe handling.

Great for teaching young ones techniques for kata form. Not so good for going full speed / full out in demo mode as it is little more springy than you want in that speed, as tip tends to travel past your stop motion. But as for learning new motions and figuring out attack strikes and parries this is perfect for single person training.

  • Great training sai for safety

These sai are shaped and sized well and are quite safe as long as there isn’t and eye injury. They are a bit wobbly which is why they are so safe. They get the job done especially in light sparing and form practice. Since steel sai arent sharp I’d just train with steel anyway but these are ideal for kids or beginners who arent used to weilding weapons.

  • Rubber sai

I was hoping they would be a little stiffer and heaver. I got them so I could have something to use at work, for that they are fine. But definitely not a replacement for the metal ones. I would like to find hard rubber one like the red training guns.

  • Weapon

My son loved it and still has them, made of good quality!

  • Good enough

Great for playing, not for practicing fancy tricks. The rubber is pretty flexible. No weird smell. Doesn't hurt too bad when you get hit. Happy to battle with rubber sai's vs foam nunchucks. All in all, the novelty of it is still cool. I baught 2 pairs.
