        Sonicare 4100 electric toothbrush.....GET ONE!!!!

        I was advised by my dentist to purchase an electric toothbrush. A bit of research led me to this Sonicare 4100. It's affordable compared to some, so I wanted to give it a try. I am totally enjoying the experience of brushing with the Sonicare. It has a timed cycle with auto shutoff and I am running two consecutive cycles. When finished, my gums feel revitalized, and when I use my (non-alcohol) mouth wash, the total effect is incredibly invigorating. I wish I would have started this sooner, but better late than never. Words of wisdom?....GET ONE!!! pjm

        Generally positive

        So far seems to work well, as the high rate brush vibrations are probably more effective than manual brushing. However, I don't like that it automatically turns off after 2 minutes. It buzzes about every 30 seconds to help pace brushing different areas, which is fine, so a distinct buzz or sound after 2 minutes would be better than just shutting down.
