    Big little hard drive

    This drive is also has supported free tools from Samsung that is usefull in migrating from one drive to another. It was a breeze to migrate my OS to this drive using those tools from Samsung. As far as performance I have to look at it in the long run, only time and usage can tell. I chose this drive for the brand name and the size (1TB) as I was running out of room in my old hard drive. So far so good. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and especially for the price range I found it at.

    Great drive wish I bought it sooner.

    We installed this in a Dell XPS 8910 Special Edition to replace a standard 2 TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive. Wow! This has made the start up, shut down and loading of programs fast again. It does not change the speed of video processing because that is on the CPU and GPU, but it has stopped the frequent bottleneck that occurred. It was simple to install. It has great heat dissipation.

    It’s a Samsung, I trust them

    Bought this to use as external storage and it fits the bill. Wasn’t looking for lighting fast speed for downloading or uploading as it is for backup. Carefully placed it in a strong external case, plugged it in and did the quick management on it. Ready to use in moments and worked perfectly. I have been a user of and a fan of Samsung SSD’s since they became available. On both home pc’s and various laptops that I’ve used in my working years on the road. Even to the extent that I paid for the upgrade out of my own pocket. This is my first QVO model, but I expect no less performance and durability from it. I believe I received good value and quality for my money. Any problems, I will update my review in the future, but for now, I would recommend it.

    What else can be said?!

    Nothing else to say about these Samgung blades that hasn’t been said before! I will not buy any other brand and currently have 7 of them in use. I only wish Samsung’s other products were this great!

    EVO — so far, so good.

    I'm assuming this is a genuine 970 EVO because unfortunately it gets listed by the name of its AM8180 M2 SSD Case NVME PCIe Enclosure (manufactured by AMicro).This might be a quirk of the enclosure; I put it in there for maintaining a clone of the NVME drive in my computer. If it saves the day eventually it will deserve all those stars. I have EVOs in other machines and they have run and lasted very well — so far.
