All the power you need to get the job done right
This jackhammer is, without a doubt, one of the best things I've ever bought. I conducted extensive research and could not find anything that came even close to matching the Michigan jackhammer. One of the many things that convinced me to buy it was the weight. There is never any need to press it down hard to get it to bite into whatever I'm breaking up. My reason for purchasing it was to allow me to dismantle a decommissioned concrete septic tank. For the most part, it went through it like a hot knife through butter, couldn't have been more pleased with it. She never missed a beat, even though, by the time the job was done, I'd carted away around six to seven tons of concrete. I liked it so much I bought another one. Now, when I hire one of my international students to work with me, ... This jackhammer is, without a doubt, one of the best things I've ever bought. It takes but a few minutes before you are ready to go. Now, of course, nothing is perfect, but none of the following issues are, in my opinion, deal-breakers. 1. The length of the warranty is disappointing, whenever I see only a one-year warranty; it makes me wonder why the company seems to lack faith in their product. Compare this to Kia, who offer a seven-year warranty, which is also transferable if you sell your car. 2. Not sure about this, but the power cable may have a design flaw. Where it enters the jackhammer, it seems to have the tendency to split, leading to broken wires. Something like this happening, closer to the plug end of the cable makes sense, because it can easily encounter sharp rocks. However, it makes no sense when it's up close to where you hold the jackhammer. Just keep an eye on it. 3. As others have written, the manual needs upgrading. The content is sparse to say the least. In addition, they are spot on regarding the case. I recommend taking a picture before taking it out of the box for the first time. However, despite the above, I still strongly recommend buying this jackhammer; it’s a truly excellent piece of equipment, that will not disappoint.

Very solid, does an excellent job.
Bought this as we had pure clay and needed to dig a plant hole and replace with good soil before planting. Was amazed what a solid machine it is and of excellent quality. We used the spade attachment. Note it is quite heavy and difficult to get back in the box. So much cheaper than hiring.

A great industrial model.
Works very well on breaking concrete . Owners manual could be better. The unit comes with a pot of grease but nothing is mentioned what it is for? The manual said that the breaker comes already greased, however on inspection appeared very dry. I purchased some Castrol LMM grease and added 40 grams as Specified. Over all I am very happy with the breaker.
