Prima scored hits in the 1940s with "Oh Marie", "Angelina" and "Robin Hood". One of his biggest hits, a duet with Keely Smith, was a remake of the Johnny Mercer classic "That Old Black Magic". By late 1954, Louis Prima had joined forces with tenor saxophonist-bandleader Sam Butera.
