The mounting brackets don't really fit and yes I've tried them all. I had to modify it with shims behind the part that bolts the rack to the car just to make it work, kinda. The "hooks" that attach to the car don't fit perfectly. It did come with rubber padding but just for the edge of the hooks. The rest of the hook puts the metal right up against your paint.
